I mindlessly buy whatever Youtubers tell me to, without researching the coin myself, and only when its already pumping super hard instead of waiting for a dip. haha.

When the price movement is “boring”, then people don’t buy. Then when the price has skyrocketed those same people say “I should have bought when it was down”.

The best thing to do with something like bitcoin is to dollar cost average when the price is consolidating (like now). If it dips more, then increase your buy sizes. Then when it’s skyrocketing do nothing. Some people like to take profits on the way up. It all depends on your time horizon. If you’re investing with a 1 year horizon (I don’t think your should), then take small profits as price goes up. Don’t forget about taxes though. If you’re long term, then buy on dips/consolidation and hold. Don’t try too hard to time the market. You can’t
