Relax, the correlation is just highest during extreme “risk off”moments but over time the correlation is not that great. The FED already made a decision not to let stockd collapse so all the money printing will leak to BTC in one form or another. Secondly, the market cap of BTC is tiny vs. US equities ( its is just about same as the whole market cap of the Philippine stock exchange ..lols!) so there will always a fractional group of investors that will see BTC as a hedge, and will hedge vs stocks. This doesn’t change the dynamics for anyone hodling for a “2 halvings time period”. So anyone not staying net long on BTC for 2 halvings ( at least 4.2 years from today) anyways, is not maximizing this asset class…. just saying

Correlation is inevitable with the same parties speculating in crypto and stocks. The key indicator is the HODL line, less liquidity means big swings likely, but like before in March it’s about that snapback. What HODLer doesn’t buy the dip? If someone wants to panic and give HODLers discounted BTC, they wouldn’t say no.
Gold also went down during the latest stock market dip. Everything seems correlated this year.

precisely! In extreme risk off events everything gets thrown out with kitchen sink. 2017 bull run in crypto was during an extremely low vol and bull environment in equities! People forget this. Correlations breaks when financial markets are in chill/bull mode. Therefore correlation data can be totally mis leading. There are lies damn lies and statistics. All we need to know is, stock market volatility will end some stage in the future. When that happens, crypto is going to vastly out perform all asset classes.

Think it means at the start of a company listed on the stock market, investors put money in company’s they believe will do well, hence getting the votes. In the long run the companies that have the most weight/biggest backing, financially speaking.
