The problem with ethereum is that they can increase supply as much as they want

Eth 2.0 does nothing about gas fees
Funny you compare it to a stock buyback. The only companies that do stock buybacks are those who can’t seem to find better ways of investing in themselves, but need to find ways of artificially pumping its price.

The problem with Ethereum is it only takes a couple programmers to completely change its code.
Good luck downloading an entire validating node to make sure the network stays more decentralized.
I still hold a large amount of Ethereum but it is completely centralized compared to Bitcoin or Monero.
