  1. Sub’bed. Love your outlook on the project and agreed with your opinions. Low hard caps, minimal advertising, focus on the techbut I hope those things don’t become the death of the project when other similar projects start sprouting up, putting out their little flame. I bought some ARY on ED.. not a great experience using that site, but once ARY makes it onto a larger exchange, I hope it won’t get dumped like I just saw with carVertical (cV) on Kucoin

  2. thanks so much for watching! yeah ED is rough, but going where others are unwilling can be viewed as an added risk that you factor into the endeavor. I think they should be able to get their value up with even a few partnerships. I’m in the boat with you 🙂

  6. I like where Block Array is heading but i’m still not completely sold. I’ve worked in logistics for the past 11 years and granted, truck detention was a big issue however it’s an issue which has already been solved. We have devices and phone apps which GPS track the trucks and scan the freight. When ever a truck is held up and a client questions our detention times we simply send the GPS data from the time of the the scanned freight, this data actually shows the truck driving onto the premises with time stamps etc all the way until the POD is signed. The software is also capable geofencing where our customer is sent a sms when the driver is approaching. As I said, I like Block Array but i’m still not 100% on it yet. The old technology (That my business currently implements) is completely autonomous, the driver does not have to scan anything where is Block Array seems to be taking a step back by making the driver scan which still leaves room for error (driver waiting for 2 hours and forgetting to scan) where as the GPS method this would not be an issue.

  7. Great analysis. I have a few carhaulers (9 car transport trucks) and we have to use at least 4 different apps that do, this with the phones GPS, as you mentioned. The apps also request photos which are also geo tagged.
    Esempio: When we transport Teslas from the factory they each have GPS that is active during transport. Tesla also requires us to use their app ( location enabled required). Our trucks have active GPS too. Più, now the E-logs device has 3G connection and GPS as well. 4 active GPS devices on at the same time tracking the same thing. Overkill!!

    1. The mobile application is a proof of concept. Production-ready applications change significantly from early betas to full clients.

    2. The scanning library is not intended to be used by actual truck drivers. It’s meant for implementation into machine-readers, es. machines in a warehouse that are scanning packages. It is useful here to test and it is much easier to implement than a GPS-integrated system.

    3. There are various ways of proving detention time. The real objective is not simply one single use case, but we feel that this use case is a strong and easily understandable one for the public.

    4. Almost 90% of truck companies are small businesses with less than 6 trucks, so your business practices are probably significantly different than what other businesses use/do.

    5. There are some things we have been working on that we have not disclosed publicly because of our patent applications that are in progress of being filed.
