Fundstrat co-founder: bitcoin will cost $ 25,000, Amazon and Facebook will join the blockchain industry

In a February 28 report to Fundstrat, co-founder and strategist Tom Lee confirmed his prediction, saying that by mid-2018, bitcoin would cost $ 20,000, and by December it would have grown to $ 25,000.

Also, according to Lee, several traditional corporations this year will introduce their own cryptocurrency. He noted that “three large companies have already announced the work on cryptocurrencies,” citing in particular the statement made the day before by Rakuten – the Japanese giant of e-commerce plans to create Rakuten Coin to support its loyalty program.

The day before, on February 27, Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz reported that Starbucks is considering using blockchain and its own cryptocurrency in its new payment application.

And, noting this statement, Lee suggested that Facebook and Amazon might also “announce a crypto strategy this year.”
